Registered Dietitian

Olya Voikin (RD, CBE) is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia and a Certified Bariatric Educator. With over 14 years of experience, Olya is passionate about helping clients achieve their best health through evidence-based, personalized nutrition care.

A graduate with honours from the UBC Dietetics program, she completed her clinical internship at Vancouver General Hospital. Her global perspective on food and nutrition is enriched by years of living and traveling abroad, including in Ukraine, Spain, India, and Mexico—making her especially knowledgeable in multicultural cuisines.

Olya offers one-on-one nutrition counseling both in person and virtually, as well as educational seminars. She specializes in supporting individuals with weight management, heart health, digestive health, chronic disease management, and much more.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that long-term health is achieved through a balance of enjoying life while making conscious, informed choices. By combining lifestyle and dietary changes with cognitive behavioral strategies, Olya empowers her clients to take control of their health and thrive.

  • Lifestyle Weight Management Program​​

The initial 60-minute session includes:

  • A thorough diet and lifestyle history

  • Body composition analysis

  • Interpretation of nutrition-related blood work

  • Identification of 3-4 primary goals for the first month, with meal suggestions and guidelines

 

For continued support, additional weekly meal plans and grocery lists are available at an extra cost.

After the initial session, follow-up appointments (30 minutes) will be scheduled every 2-4 weeks to review progress, set new goals, and make adjustments to your plan.

  • Gut Health Management

​This service is designed to improve gut health by providing dietary guidelines tailored to your specific needs. Whether you're dealing with bloating, heartburn, GERD, indigestion, gas, constipation, or diarrhea, this program will help you address these symptoms effectively.

The assessment includes:

  • Microbiome gut check to evaluate the health of your digestive system

  • Recommendations for short-term elimination diets and herbal/natural supplements to support gut healing

  • Personalized guidance on dietary changes to reduce symptoms and promote overall gut health

 

  • Heart Health Counseling

Kickstart your heart health with evidence-based nutrition advice that’s tailored to your specific needs. This service is ideal for individuals looking to improve heart health, manage cholesterol, or prevent cardiovascular issues through diet.

The process includes:

  • A thorough evaluation of your current diet and health status

  • Interpretation of your blood work values with actionable insights

  • A customized meal ideas and guidelines focused on heart health, along with supplement recommendations, if needed

The initial assessment will include:

  • A review of your current diet, potential endocrine disruptors, lab work, and physical activity

  • Detailed guidance on how a low glycemic diet can help reduce PCOS symptoms and associated risk factors

  • 3-5 personalized recommendations to help you manage PCOS more effectively

 

Follow-up 30-minute sessions are recommended every 4-8 weeks to reassess progress, provide ongoing support, and make adjustments to your plan of action.
